Biggest waste of your time: Cleaning my house...in 5 minutes its back where it was!! I was vacuuming one Saturday arvo and one of my children asked 'Mum, who's coming over this afternoon?'. Me: No-one sweetie, why? Kid: Then why are you cleaning?
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why: Spain - it's somewhere Bish and I both haven't been and keeps popping up all over Facebook with friends going there...FOMO!
Favorite Celebrity: My husband - The Bish haha. I'm his biggest fan :) (He's awesome, just ask him!)
Something people don't know about you: I don't really like ice-cream
Any quirky or superstitious things you do prior to a race: Dinner is either prawn pasta or a chicken parmy and Make sure there is cold champagne in the fridge for the night after the race!
Which is your favourite 4 legged creature and why: A Cat - they keep your legs warm in winter, they are affectionate and cuddly and they clean themselves.
Who or What in triathlon inspire you: People from all walks of life, in all shapes and sizes coming together for a common love of the sport. The positive energy and vibe from training and competing with like-minded, strong willed people. It doesn't matter how much or how little you race, or the distance you do, there is a respect for everyone at their stage of the sport. Never say never!
Favorite song: Songbird by Eva Cassidy, it was my Wedding Dance song
Goal In triathlon: Oooo I have a few..... Do a full Ironman someday, Get my 70.3 time down to 5:15, do a race outside of WA, and still be participating when I'm 60!
What does a perfect day look like to you: Wake up with Bish, go for a run or a ride, swim at the beach and lay in the sun, have a massage, go shopping, drink champagne at sunset and go out for dinner...and it's definitely summer!!
What’s your guilty pleasure: I have many pleasures and don't feel guilty about any of them!! You only live once!!
Anything else you'd like to add: I joined GK Endurance to train for my first Half ironman and found myself a whole new bunch of friends. The camaraderie and support amongst the 'team' is infectious and there is always someone to spur you on towards the next goal.
